Undurchdringliches Purpurrot, fast schwarze Mitte. Ein kraftvolles, dunkelbeerig geprägtes Bouquet mit Aromen nach Brombeeren, schwarzem Holunder, Gewürznelke und Wacholder, auch Crémantschokolade. Sehr weicher Auftakt, abgelöst von einer explosiven Fruchtaromatik, nebst dunkelbeerigen Aromen auch Edelholznoten und Vanille, schliesslich etwas kubanischer Tabak: sehr intensiv, mit angenehmen Gerbstoffen unterlegt: samtig bis in den ausgedehnten, leicht würzigen und charaktervollen Abgang.
