Armagnac is the oldest known French spirit with a controlled designation of origin. Unlike Cognac, Armagnac is only distilled once in a continuous distillation process. It is then aged for 3 - 20 years. The Baron Gaston Legrand estate, which belongs to Lhéraud, specializes in the production and storage of sought-after vintage Armagnacs and can offer vintages dating back to 1802.
