This Tuscan red wine matures for about 18 months in Slovenian oak barrels and then again for 6 months in the bottle before it is released on the market. It shows an intense ruby red, a wonderfully pronounced fruit aroma, dark stone fruits, ripe plums, vanilla but also floral notes of violets. On the palate, it shows a broad juiciness, lively acidity and pleasantly discreet wood flavours. An ideal companion to typical Italian dishes.
